Mac Bolak started Los Angeles Salons. He is a startup founder and technologist who started a company called Panoptyc in college that has grown to hundreds of employees in 4 years. He moved to Los Angeles and wants to help magnify the technology, startup, and industry ecoystem that's growing in LA with community-building he's learned in NYC and Boulder.
Salons were staples of French and Italian high society going back to the 16th century. They largely faded out of mainstream culture in the early 20th century but are making a comeback in intellectual circles and cities. We're bringing salons back. We're bringing salons to Los Angeles.
